Abstract

Der Artikel liefert einen ersten Arbeitsbericht zum BMBF-geförderten Projekt „FutureWork: Arbeit im Übergang zum 22. Jahrhundert“. Ziel des Beitrags ist die Darstellung eines methodischen Ansatzes, der in Ergänzung zu der in der Zukunftsforschung bekannten Methode der Szenariotechnik explizit auf die Einbindung kultureller Daten setzt, hier der Zukunftsvisionen der Science Fiction als Input. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Fragestellung, wie wir Ende des 21. Jahrhunderts arbeiten werden. Gerade der weitreichende Zeitrahmen ist für rein empirische Projekte schwer abzubilden. Hier halten die kulturell-kreativen Aspekte der Science Fiction eine ideale Ergänzung zur Entwicklung möglicher Szenarien bereit.
