Geschlechterverhältnisse in Prozessen der Digitalisierung industrieller Einfacharbeit: Stabilisierung oder Neuverhandlung?

Abstract

Der Einzug digitaler Technologien in die Arbeitswelt wird derzeit breit diskutiert und ist auch ein Thema der soziologischen Arbeits- und Geschlechterforschung. An die Entwicklungen der Arbeit stellen sich aus einer Geschlechterperspektive etliche Fragen u.a. zu den Interventionsmöglichkeiten in den Bereichen der Arbeitsorganisation, Arbeitsteilung und Technik sowie zu den Chancen, aber auch Risiken für mehr Geschlechtergerechtigkeit. Der Beitrag befasst sich mit dem Verhältnis von Arbeit, Digitalisierung und Geschlecht anhand von empirischen Forschungsergebnissen aus dem Bereich der industriellen Einfacharbeit. Es handelt sich um einen Arbeitsbereich, der in der Vergangenheit selten im Zentrum der Geschlechterforschung stand, im Zuge der Debatten um Industrie 4.0 jedoch von großer Aktualität ist. Die Ergebnisse werden verallgemeinert und eingebunden in einen übergeordneten Diskurs um Interventionsmöglichkeiten und Geschlechterwissen.
