Abstract

Hauptschüler/innen haben besonders häufig Probleme damit, den Übergang in eine vollqualifizierende Ausbildung zu meistern. Um den Schüler/innen diesen Übergang zu erleichtern und Kontakte zu den Betrieben herzustellen, wurden in den letzten Jahren vermehrt Maßnahmen durchgeführt, die stärker auf betriebliche Praxiserfahrungen setzen. Im Beitrag wird am Beispiel eines Interventionsprojekts untersucht, wie nachhaltig solche Maßnahmen bezogen auf den Ausbildungsverlauf sind. Die Befunde zeigen, dass Maßnahmen, die darauf zielen, Diskreditierungsprozesse durch direkten und dauerhaften Kontakt zu den Betrieben abzubauen, für Jugendliche mit einem einfachen Hauptschulabschluss ein vielversprechender Weg sind.
