Abstract

The share of psychosocial risks among labor-related risks remains high. The continuation of old regulatory norms and conventional tools shows only limited success in dealing with the problem. Health risks of this kind so far only rarely play any role in processes of permanent change management. Therefore it is imperative, both socially and culturally, to ask whether a permanent blurring the boundaries of work can form the basis for fostering the health of employees. This contribution tries to sketch a possible solution starting from three examples: work-related stress, the weariness of the self and the manpower entrepreneur with blurred working conditions. The focus is on a redirection of work, focusing on autonomy and cooperation under the guiding principle of „care“.
