Abstract

Restructuring and change are underway in many companies. However, the outcome of change processes is not always a success. One risky consequence of restructuring lies in effects on the wellbeing of the people involved. This article examines factors for an increased feeling of stress and exhaustion of‘ change managers", using a sample of 133 interviews with executives. Implications for health prevention are discussed.
