Abstract

Along the demographic change and its consequences a specific basis of the development concerning the Eastern German industry is put under pressure. A specific orientation on consense was established by a high availability of qualification, motivation and commitment in the companies for free admission as well as low aspirated and conflictless work force. The contribution analyses the consense types on the aspect of changing needs regarding work and points out, that demography only turns into a driver of “good work” and innovation ability when companies are able to establish routines for participation and internal conflict management solutions.
