Abstract

The dark side of leadership refers to a growing research field that deals with dysfunctional consequences of leadership. This article gives a review on central concepts within the fairly fragmented field. While considering different aspects, nearly all concepts focus on the leader’s personality and actions. Open research questions and an agenda for future research will be briefly considered.
