Abstract

This article describes partial results of a research project of health care services that uses the orphan disease ALS as an example. It describes the interaction work of health coordination which assists patients in coping with the aftermaths of the disease and protects their interests to protagonists of public health sector. Therefore it takes over a function of coordination, which becomes necessary as a result of the increasing problems of coordination among the separate service parts of medicare. This kind of work makes highest demands in interaction work, wich can be supported by measures of job design.
