Abstract

The resultats of the survey DGB-Index “Gute Arbeit” show that they are basically comparable with the BIBB/BAuA-Erwerbstätigenbefragung. Inspite of analogue conceptions and very similar questions it must be considered that analyses based on single items are not sufficient. Nevertheless findings based on factor analysis show, that both surveys largely coincide in the correlations and variance of factor scores concerning different occupational groups. In conclusion the criticism on the validity of the DGB-survey is not justified.
