Veränderungen in den Beziehungsaspekten der Pflegearbeit – eine qualitative Studie zur kirchlichen Pflegearbeit

Abstract

Pflege in kirchlichen Einrichtungen ist traditionell von einer christlichen Haltung geprägt, die sich in der Beziehungsgestaltung ausdrückt. Die Untersuchung mit Diakonissen i. R. sowie Pflegekräften aus diakonischen Einrichtungen zeigt den Wandel in Beziehungsansprüchen und -praxis auf: Pflege als Lebensweg aufgrund von Berufung wird zu einer Erwerbsarbeit, die den Pflegekräften ein Privatleben lässt. Pflege wurde lange als Allerweltstätigkeit (weiblicher Liebesdienst) angesehen. Professionalisierung hat mittlerweile zu qualifizierter Ausbildung und hohem Qualitätsstandard geführt. Dabei droht die Bedeutung der nicht-funktionalistischen interaktiven Pflegeelemente übersehen zu werden. Der Schwerpunkt verschiebt sich von der Beziehungsgestaltung („Mitmenschlichkeit“) auf die fachlich-technischen Aktivitäten. Auch das Bild des Bedürftigen unterliegt einem Wandel vom Patienten hin zum Kunden.
