Das „Übergangsregime“ in der Schweiz – Von der Sekundarstufe I in die Berufsbildung

Abstract

Die Übergänge von Jugendlichen zwischen Schule und Arbeitswelt gestalten sich zunehmend prekärer. Der vorliegende Beitrag fokussiert dabei insbesondere auf den, für den individuellen Bildungsverlauf entscheidenden, Übergang von Sekundarstufe I in Sekundarstufe II. Europaweit haben sich verschiedene Ausbildungsregimes herausgebildet, welche diese Übergänge von Jugendlichen steuern (1). Die Perspektive auf die Schweiz, als dual organisiertes Berufsbildungssystem (2), legt dar, dass lineare Bildungs- und Erwerbsverläufe auch in diesem Land keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr sind, insbesondere für schulleistungsschwächere und benachteiligte Jugendliche (3). Ein Vergleich der verschiedenen Übergangsregimes (4) zeigt, dass sich, trotz der tiefverankerten Strukturen der Bildungs- und Sozialsysteme, konvergente Neigungen nachweisen lassen (5).
