Abstract

Nationale Rahmenbedingungen, zu denen das Ausbildungssystem zu rechnen ist, wirken sich auf die Leistungsfähigkeit der jeweiligen Wirtschaft aus. Die Unternehmen beider Länder sind im ITBereich mit sehr ähnlichen Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Diese Studie untersucht, wie deutsche und britische Unternehmen auf das unterschiedliche Angebot von Fachkräften aus dem Bereich Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (IT) reagieren und welche Mechanismen sie bei der Rekrutierung sowie der Aus- und Weiterbildung von IT-Fachkräften einsetzen. Im Rahmen der Studie wurden 90 Unternehmen in Deutschland und Großbritannien aus vier Branchen des Industrie und des Dienstleistungssektors befragt. Ziel dieser Studie ist einerseits die Analyse und Bewertung der Strategien zur Steuerung des Angebotes an IT-Fachleuten in Deutschland und Großbritannien.
