Entscheidungsfindung in Meetings: Beschäftigte zwischen Hierarchie und Selbstorganisation

Abstract

Diskursive Koordinierung findet in dezentralisierten Arbeitsstrukturen zumeist in „Meetings“ statt. Insbesondere mit dem Anspruch der Entscheidungsfindung ist das Meeting jedoch strukturell überfordert. Der Artikel zeigt auf, wie in dem Gefüge von Informationsüberflutung, unklaren Entscheidungskompetenzen, Entscheidungsangst sowie Absicherungs- und Rechtfertigungskultur das Meeting vom Entscheidungsforum zum Ort der immerwährenden Problemgenese mutiert: Der Wunsch nach perfekt rationalen Entscheidungen führt zu Handlungsblockaden. Die Autorinnen plädieren stattdessen für eine effizientere Entscheidungsfindung durch die Nutzung informeller Kooperation.
