„Gute Arbeit“ - eine arbeits- und gesundheitspolitische Initiative der IG Metall

Abstract

Die IG Metall will mit einer politischen Initiative „Gute Arbeit“ das Handlungsfeld menschengerechter Arbeitsgestaltung revitalisieren. Dabei können Anknüpfungspunkte in der europäischen Rechtsetzung zu Gesundheit und Sicherheit bei der Arbeit sowie in der Kommissionsstrategie zur Qualität der Arbeit genutzt werden. Die neuen Rechte im Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz als Folge der europäischen Impulse sind nach wie vor nur sehr unzureichend in den Betrieben umgesetzt. Für die Gewerkschaften besteht ein großer betrieblicher Handlungsdruck, sich erneut auf dem Feld humaner Arbeitsgestaltung zu engagieren. Zentrale neue Gefährdungsbereiche wie die zunehmende Entgrenzung von Arbeitszeit und Leistung, der Wandel der Leistungsbedingungen für Ältere und die Prekarisierung sollen deshalb in einem Projekt Gute Arbeit aufgegriffen werden. Damit will die IG Metall auch einen eigenen profilierten Beitrag zur „Initiative für eine neue Qualität der Arbeit“ der Bundesregierung erbringen, die konstruktiv und kritisch unterstützt wird.
