New lifestyle trends are key market requirements in tourism

Abstract

The tourism industry is nowadays afflicted by huge changes in customer behaviors according to their lifestyle and also by political and economical conflicts in some destinations. Because of the amount of these factors we will concern us in this paper only on the lifestyle trends. New lifestyle trends at the beginning of the third millennium require also new approaches to customers in tourism services. Pretensions to the service quality are increasing rapidly and the way of providing services and their content are changing, too.
