Abstract

The article concerns characteristic features of South Bohemia agricultural farms in higher position above the sea level in the district Český Krumlov (CK) and Prachatice (PT). As a basis for the analysis a collection of agricultural enterprises was used and the data we have received from the Czech statistical office from the Register of economical subjects according to parameters which we demanded [number of employees, legal form of entrepreneurial firms, production orientation according to sales]. The position above the sea level has been ad joint to the residence of agricultural enterprises from the database of the Czech statistical office - municipal and local statistics. Combination of these data gives more precise characteristics of farms in the region of our interest. Results can be used also for forming selected sets of farms for receiving more precise data so, that the structure of selecting sets will more fit to the structure of existing enterprises.
