Abstract

A Strategy map is a visual interpretation of business´ tasks and the successive steps needed to accomplish these goals. This article is dealing with the fact that the use of the Strategy map is usually connected only with a big company. The aim is to show that small companies could use this managerial tool as well and it could help them plan the future of these companies and reveal the problems of actual management. This article is based on the working with 2 companies from the sector of small companies and verifies that Strategy map helps small business owners to learn about connection between objectives and daily operations and proved that Strategy map is useful to a large and to a small business as well.
