Abstract

The paper is focused on analysing of chosen organic commodities in the South Bohemian areas from the view of production and distribution. Analysis is based on data of Ministry of Agriculture, Institute of Agricultural Economics and Information and survey of market-influential producers in the South Bohemia. Data is put in context with outcomes of researches realised from 2005 to 2008: ecological agriculture, organic-foodstuff sale, consumers surveys. The purpose of the research is to support the ecological agriculture development in the area – in the optimal production structure considering market demand. This should result into significant improvement of regional organic product supply and higher consumer satisfaction due to their high quality and wide availability.
