Abstract

This paper analyses the structure of subsidies in the sample of agricultural holdings classified according to their area in less favoured areas. Changes related to the accession of the Czech Republic in the EU and implementation of rules of the common agricultural policy (CAP) reflected in the investigated period 2003 – 2006. The profitability of agricultural holdings measured through the profit/loss (including its detailed structure) and return on assets is further analysed. This paper is a part of the MSM 6007665806 project.
