Empirical research in the Vysočina region communities

Abstract

The paper analyzes results of an overall research in the statistical population of communities of the Vysočina Region 2007. Representatives of a sample by village sizes and by proportional representation of respondents was verified using statistical methods. Equipment of the villages is assessed in the paper, relationships between the determining conditions of inhabitants´ life and the community size and their appertainment to a country. A differentiation by country has been performed for significant variables using the sign test. Statement of factors affecting the maintenance of communities within the countryside space can be taken the result of the study.
