Efectos de la inversión pública y privada en el crecimiento económico de Bolivia

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación es encontrar evidencia empírica del efecto crowding-in en el corto y largo plazo de la inversión pública sobre la inversión privada y el impacto del capital público/privado sobre el crecimiento económico desde una perspectiva sectorial. En el estudio, se consideran los sectores de agricultura, construcción, hidrocarburos, energía, industria y minería. Los resultados del modelo VEC muestran un efecto crowdingin en todos los sectores. El efecto más importante se observa en el sector de hidrocarburos, seguido de los sectores de construcción y agricultura. Por su parte, los resultados del modelo PVAR recursivo también muestran la existencia de crowding-in con diferentes magnitudes a través del tiempo. Asimismo, se evidencia un efecto positivo del capital público y privado en el crecimiento económico.
