Abstract

In the development of e-learning, an increasing amount of attention is given to intelligent tutoring systems, i.e., systems that attempt to emulate the human methods and strategies of teaching. The current paper aims to show some of the ways in which educational methods can be implemented into such tutors, focusing on the most complex and challenging area - ill-defined domains, i.e., domains that lack a systematic solving approach.
