Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the main guidelines and standards concerning the project risk management such as: the PMBOK guide, the PRAM guide, the PRINCE2 standard and the ISO 31000:2009 standard. Also, this paper tries to make a comparative analysis of main standards about project risk management. In my opinion, the best standard regarding the project risk management is that which suits better with the size and nature of the project and also is that on which you know and manage the best.
