Statistische oplossing van een passingsprobleem

Abstract

The clearance between bearing and bore depends more or less on the form (out of round) of the bore. Consequently, if high accuracy is required and a positive clearance must be sure, the information got from measuring a turned bore must contain a clear indication about the value of its minimum diameter. A statistical solution is given to find the distribution of the minimum diameter, if known: a. the smallest allowable clearance, b. the distribution of the outside diameter of the bearing, c. the standard deviation of the minimum diameter of the bore. Moreover the measuring method at the lathe was revised and a control chart for the median was introduced.
