Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationship between environmental sustainability and human rights through the lens of complex systems theory, particularly in the context of globalization. To address the scarcity of comprehensive data, a novel framework integrating stability, ecological immunology, pollution prevention, economics and Smith's optimism principle quantifies the nexus between human rights and sustainability, validated through examples that highlight their interdependence. Highlighting the necessity of a safe, clean environment for protecting human rights, the study calls for collaborative research and stakeholder engagement to navigate these complex issues, proposing a significant advancement towards harmonizing environmental and human rights agendas.
