Abstract

type="graphical" xml:id="gpol12098-abs-0002"> Almost all nations have made efforts to deal with disasters. In doing so, they have tried to evaluate their own disaster management. Three nations, in particular, have shown very unique characteristics in their disaster management. These are the United States, Indonesia, and South Korea (hereinafter Korea) in the Asia-Pacific zone. It is time to ask, as a research question, how the evaluation technique of a holistic frame regarding each disaster management issue is applied in these three nations.
