Enriching Work Environment In The Welfare Service Sector: The Case Of Social Enterprises In Swedish Childcare

Abstract

type="main" xml:lang="fr"> Le modèle de demande et de contrôle de Karasak et Theorell relatif à l'analyse de l'environnement de travail postule un degré élévé à la fois d‘exigences et contrôle pour obtenir des conditions de travail actives ou bonnes. Dans ce modèle, le stress apparaît quand les exigences sont nombreuses mais qu'il y a peu de possibilités de contrôle. Cet article examine l'augmentation significative d'exigences liées au travail pour les employés du secteur public en Suède. Il explore également la contribution potentielle des entreprises sociales à l'enrichissement de l'environnement de travail et à l'offre de “bon travail”. Les données empiriques proviennent de deux études différentes sur l'environnement de travail dans les services à l'enfance en Suède, une portant sur la période 1994-95 et l'autre 2006-07. L’article montre que les conditions de travail ont radicalement changé depuis 20 ans et que les effets sont toujours apparents à l'heure actuelle. Les résultats indiquent par contre que les petites entreprises sociales offrent toujours un meilleur environnement de travail que les services publics.
