Tác động của tài chính, hạ tầng số đến nghèo đói và bất bình đẳng thu nhập

Abstract

Nghiên cứu hướng đến việc khám phá tác động của việc mở rộng tài chính và cải thiện hạ tầng kỹ thuật số đối với đói nghèo và sự bất cân xứng thu nhập tại Đông Á và Đông Nam Á. Sử dụng dữ liệu bảng từ năm 1998 đến năm 2023 của 16 quốc gia, phương pháp Pooled OLS để phân tích tổng thể về mối quan hệ trung bình. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy chỉ số tiếp cận tài chính (FIA) có tác động tiêu cực đến bất bình đẳng thu nhập (GINI) và tỷ lệ nghèo (POV), nhưng tác động tích cực đến mức độ thiếu hụt thu nhập trung bình (POVH). Số lượng kết nối băng thông cố định (FBS) và tỷ lệ người tham gia không gian mạng (IUI) có tác động tiêu cực đến POV, trong khi FBS có tác động tích cực và IUI có tác động tiêu cực đến POVH. Số lượng thuê bao di động (MCS) có tác động tích cực đến POV, nhưng tiêu cực đến POVH và không ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến GINI. Từ đó nghiên cứu nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc phát triển tài chính toàn diện, đầu tư vào hạ tầng kỹ thuật số và xây dựng các chính sách hỗ trợ phù hợp để tối ưu hóa tác động của công nghệ số đối với giảm nghèo và bất bình đẳng thu nhập.
