The importance of using digitization to advance the higher education sector with reference to some of the leading models

Abstract

The rapid development of the Internet has led to the development of the educational process using modern methods, the result of which is so-called digitization. The use of digitization is a recent trend in the educational system in general and the higher education sector in particular. This intervention aims at learning about the basics of digitization in the higher education sector and some foreign experiences.The study found that the university should define its future vision of the educational process, that digitization should be one of the components of this vision, and that it should choose its own multiple means of e-learning. إن التطور السريع في مجال شبكة المعلومات "االنترنت" أدى إلى تطوير العملية التعليمية باستخدام أساليب حديثة كان نتاجها ما يسمى بالرقمنة، فاستخدام الرقمنة يعد من االتجاهات الحديثة في المنظومة التعليمية بصفة عامة وقطاع التعليم العالي بصفة خاصة، وتهدف هذه المداخلة إلى معرفة أساسيات استخدام الرقمنةفيقطاع التعليم العاليومعرفةبعض التجارباألجنبيةفي ذلك. توصلت الدراسة إلى أنه على الجامعة أن تحدد رؤيتها المستقبلية بخصوص العملية التعليمية، وأن تكون الرقمنةأحد عناصر هذهالرؤية،و عليها اختيار ما يناسبها من وسائل التعليم اإللكتروني المتعددة.
