Abstract

This initiative focuses on developing innovative genetic modification techniques to create thornless plants, enhancing agricultural efficiency and sustainability. Using advanced biotechnology, including CRISPR-Cas9, it ensures precise gene edits while preserving beneficial traits like yield and disease resistance. The goal is to improve safety and productivity in farming and gardening by eliminating thorns. A key aspect is establishing a platform to oversee genetic modifications, monitor edits, and assess plant growth. This system streamlines the process for researchers, promoting ecological sustainability by reducing mechanical pruning and increasing crop yields, ultimately improving agricultural efficiency and safety.
