Türkiye’de Finansal Gelismenin Büyümeye Etkisi

Abstract

Finansal sistem, ekonomide atil halde bulunan kaynaklarin tahsisinde, bunlarin verimli yatirimlara yönlenmesinde dolayisiyla da ekonomik büyümede çok önemli bir role sahiptir. Finansal sistemde yer alan finansal kurumlarin ve/veya araçlarin sayisindaki, kullanimindaki, etkinligindeki artişlar finansal sistemin büyümesini ve yapisinin degişmesini ifade edecek sekilde finansal gelisme olarak açiklanmaktadir. Bu kapsamda, bu çalismada Türkiye’de finansal gelisme ile ekonomik büyüme arasindaki iliski 2006:Q1-2020:Q3 dönemine ait M2 para arzinin ve özel sektörde kullanilan kredilerin GSYH’ya orani, kişi başına düşen GSYH verileri ile araştirilmistir. VAR yöntemiyle analizler yapilmis, uzun dönemli iliskileri tespit etmek amaciyla da Johansen eşbütünleşme testi uygulanmistir. Ayrica degiskenlerin maruz kaldigi soklar karsisinda diger degiskenlerin gösterdigi reaksiyonu görmek amaciyla etki-tepki yöntemi ile varyans ayristirma teknigi uygulanmistir. Analiz sonuçlarina göre, M2 para arzi ile özel sektörün kullandigi krediler ve kisi basına düsen milli gelir arassnda anlamls ilidki vardir. Ayrica gerek kisi basina düsen milli gelir gerekse de M2 para arzsndan özel sektöre verilen krediler arassnda karsilikli neden sonuç iliskisine ulasilmistir.
