Les fonds de titrisation français en 2025 : croissance et perspectives

Abstract

La titrisation, qui transforme des créances en titres négociables en les cédant à un véhicule ad hoc, fluidifie et donc facilite le financement de l’économie. En France, la croissance de l’actif du bilan des fonds de titrisation s’établit à 6,5 % en 2025 et à 13 % en moyenne annuelle sur cinq ans, pour atteindre 414 milliards d’euros en 2025, confortant la quatrième position de la France dans la zone euro. Sur le marché français, les actifs sous-jacents sont surtout constitués des créances immobilières. Leur titrisation (environ 13 % des crédits à l’habitat accordés aux ménages) est principalement autodétenue par les banques françaises qui les ont cédées. En Europe, la titrisation se développe, mais reste relativement peu utilisée en comparaison avec les États-Unis. La Commission européenne a proposé de rationaliser les exigences opérationnelles et prudentielles, créant le potentiel d’une expansion supplémentaire pour ce marché dans les années à venir.
