La monnaie fiduciaire en France en 2014

Abstract

En 2014, les émissions nettes de billets en France ont connu un rythme de croissance de 6,2 % en valeur, comparable à celui enregistré en 2013 et légèrement moins soutenu que celui observé dans l’ensemble de la zone euro. Du fait de la prépondérance des coupures de transaction (principalement le 20 € mais aussi, de manière croissante, le 50 €), la contribution de la France aux émissions nettes de la zone euro est beaucoup plus importante en volume qu’en valeur.
