Abstract

En France, la qualité des billets en circulation est parmi les meilleures de l’Eurosystème : c’est en raison de l’implication du réseau des caisses de la Banque de France dans la mise en circulation et l’entretien de la monnaie fiduciaire, ainsi que du contrôle mis en oeuvre sur les opérations de recyclage réalisées par les opérateurs externes.
