Abstract

This book review examines the three-volume collection "Technology Adoption and Social Issues: Concepts, Methodologies, Tools, and Applications", edited by Mehdi Khosrow-Pour and published by IGI Global in 2018. The collection offers a comprehensive and interdisciplinary exploration of technological adoption and its social implications, bringing together 80 chapters contributed by international scholars. Structured progressively across three volumes, the work covers foundational theories, methodological tools, applied research, and broader organizational and social impacts of technology adoption. Its strong international orientation and geographically diverse empirical cases provide valuable insights into how cultural, institutional, governance, and socio-economic factors shape technology adoption across different spatial contexts. The collection serves as a significant reference for academics, practitioners, and policymakers addressing innovation, digital transformation, and socially inclusive technology strategies.
