Geografski Informacioni Sistemi U Poljoprivredi (The Geographic Information Systems In Agriculture)

Abstract

Poljoprivreda predstavlja delatnost koja je jedan od najvećih „konzumenata“ prostora,zbog čega je poznavanje svih relevantnih faktora i specifičnosti okruženja, jedan od imperativa savremene agrarne ekonomije. U tom smislu, korišćenje geografskih informacionih sistema (GIS) se smatra inovativnim pristupom u poljoprivredi i najčešće se upotrebljava u dva segmenta: kroz koncept „precizne poljoprivrede“ i kao deo sistema za podršku odlučivanju u procesu monitoringa i upravljanja agrrnim sistemom. GIS za „preciznu“ poljoprivredu omogućava, pre svega, poljoprivrednim proizvođačima da u realnom vremenu upravljaju svim radovima vezanim za obrađivanje poljoprivrednih površina kao i predsetvenim, setvenim i žetvenim radovima, ali i da planiraju buduće radove zasnovane na pravovremenim informacijama direktno sa obradivih površina. U ovom radu biće reči o značaju GIS-a u realizaciji koncepta „precizne poljoprivrede“, kao i upravljanju resursom poljoprivrednog zemljišta kroz GIS, sa posebnim osvrtom na karakteristične primere.
