Abstract

As an emerging form of film and television art, interactive film and television breaks through the one-way communication mode of traditional works, forming three layers of interactive logic. The first layer, the logic of experiential interaction, manifests as the subject’s selection of and participation in the object, as well as the object’s feedback and incentive to the subject. The second layer, the logic of creative interaction, manifests as the creators’ “dialogic” primary creation, the audience’s “participatory” secondary creation, and the community’s “discursive” tertiary creation. The third layer, the logic of aesthetic interaction, manifests in the aesthetic interaction of “a thousand faces,” the aesthetic interaction of “repetitive dynamics,” and the aesthetic interaction of “subject empathy.” These three layers of interactive logic together constitute a completely new signifying form for interactive film and television art, expanding the narrative methods and expressive space of film and television art.
