Abstract

Durante la década pasada el sector financiero experimentó un cambio estructural ocasionado por la interacción de diferentes fuerzas que determinan su funcionamiento. Estas fuerzas responden a distintas variables que pueden catalogarse en dos grandes grupos: aquellas que reflejan la evolución del mercado, y aquellas que dependen de la regulación institucional de los intermediarios por parte de la autoridad económica.
