Análisis estadístico de la variabilidad de los medios de pago y la tasa de cambio

Abstract

El propósito de este trabajo es estudiar la variabilidad de los medios de pago antes y después de la creación de la Junta Monetaria, como también, de la tasa de cambio en los períodos anterior y posterior a la expedición del Decreto-Ley 444 de 1967. El análisis correspondiente se lleva a cabo utilizando pruebas estadísticas tanto paramétricas como no paramétricas sobre series en los diferentes períodos. Los resultados arrojados por las pruebas estadísticas muestran mayor estabilidad en M1 como en tasa de cambio en el segundo período considerado.
