Encuesta a las empresas españolas sobre la evolución de su actividad: tercer trimestre de 2023

Abstract

Motivación La Encuesta del Banco de España sobre la Actividad Empresarial (EBAE) permite extraer, en tiempo real, información muy valiosa acerca de la facturación, el empleo y los precios pagados y cobrados por una amplia muestra de empresas españolas, lo que proporciona una contribución muy relevante al diagnóstico de la situación coyuntural de la economía. Ideas principales •Las empresas han percibido un descenso de su facturación en el tercer trimestre de 2023, tras el ligero aumento del trimestre anterior. La facturación cayó en todos los sectores, salvo en los servicios turísticos y de información y comunicaciones. •Se observan indicios de pausa en el proceso desinflacionista en el tercer trimestre, tanto en los costes de producción como en los precios de venta. Las expectativas a un año apuntan a un ligero repunte de las presiones inflacionistas, sobre todo en el precio de los consumos intermedios. •La actividad empresarial se ha visto afectada por el repunte de los costes energéticos y por la creciente incidencia de los problemas de disponibilidad de mano de obra. Estos últimos están motivando, entre otras cosas, que muchas empresas se vean obligadas a reducir sus contrataciones y a conceder mayores alzas salariales.
