La situación financiera de los hogares en la zona del euro en 2018

Abstract

A partir de las cuentas de los sectores institucionales, este artículo describe el comportamiento de la renta, el ahorro, la financiación y la posición patrimonial de los hogares en la zona del euro en 2018. La mejora del mercado de trabajo y el comportamiento más dinámico de los salarios continuaron impulsando la renta de las familias, que, junto con la revalorización de los activos —en particular, la vivienda— y en un entorno de tipos de interés muy bajos, sostuvo el nivel de gasto. La tasa de ahorro experimentó un suave repunte en el conjunto del área, si bien hay amplias divergencias entre países. La demanda de financiación de los hogares ha continuado creciendo de forma moderada, lo que se ha reflejado en una ligera caída de su ratio de endeudamiento.
