Evolución reciente y proyecciones de la población en España

Abstract

Según la última información disponible, a lo largo de 2014 la población total española habría moderado la tendencia descendente mostrada en los dos años anteriores. En concreto, la población española retrocedió un 0,16 %, tres décimas menos que la registrada un año antes. Este artículo describe los desarrollos demográficos más recientes a partir de la información publicada el 25 de junio de la estadística de Cifras de Población del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) y de la Estadística de Migraciones, así como de la información de la Encuesta de Población Activa (EPA) correspondiente al primer trimestre de 2015. Asimismo, se comparan estos datos con las proyecciones disponibles, con el fin de detectar cambios en las tendencias esperadas de los determinantes demográficos.
