Abstract

The paper is presenting new approaches to teaching languages with apps. It points out several questions about rethinking the teaching methods and also the abilities of multitasking students who are capable of handling different tasks at the same time. The paper emphasizes also the understanding of different impacts of the digital revolution on education, e.g. what does it mean to use new technology in education, especially in educating foreign languages. Is it just for the sake of using the technology or is the pedagogy the driving force behind the technology.
