Productividad, competitividad y diversificación productiva

Abstract

Esta publicación, con propuestas hacia un mejor Gobierno 2016 - 2021, es parte de los 17 documentos de política del Proyecto CIES "Elecciones Perú: centrando el debate electoral"; promovido por el Centro de Investigación de la Universidad del Pacífico (CIUP), la Escuela de Gobierno y Políticas Públicas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (EGPP - PUCP), y liderado por el Consorcio de Investigación Económica y Social (CIES). El documento plantea una serie de políticas prioritarias para elevar la productividad, la competitividad y la diversificación productiva en el país: (i) promover la competencia y disminuir los costos de cumplir con la regulación mediante reformas regulatorias; (ii) reducir las rigideces en el mercado laboral y fortalecer las habilidades de la fuerza laboral; y (iii) facilitar el comercio exterior. A su vez, deben ser complementadas por tres políticas: (i) ayudar a las empresas a innovar; (ii) resolver fallas de mercado para la diversificación; y (iii) buscar activamente inversión que participe en cadenas de valor globales. Se agradece a las instituciones que han hecho posible este esfuerzo.
