RFID technology in the trade business: opportunities and challenges

Abstract

The paper discusses the opportunities, advantages, problems and challenges to the application of RFID technology in the trade business. It determines the morphology of the radio frequency identification as a contemporary information technology. It evaluates the opportunities and advantages of its use in the trade business. The paper analyzes the main problems and challenged of the introduction and functioning of RFID in the trade activity.
