Labor Force Restructuring and Development of the System of Education and Training

Abstract

The main aim of this research is to investigate and to assess the status and the changes in the structure and quality of the labor force, in the system of education and training, and their relation with the transformations in the economy of the country. In connection with this purpose, a substantial characteristic of the alterations in the macroeconomic environment and in the structure of the economy, these are important preconditions for the changes in the structure and the demanded quality of the labor force is done. The main tendencies in the labor supply and demand in an educational-qualificational aspect and their dependence on the restructuring of the economy are investigated. Some of the most important changes in the system of education and training are analyzed in connection with the necessities of the economy, of the labor market and with the establishment of the directions and policies for the development of this system.
