Modern Dimensions in Option Industry

Abstract

The research of the dimensions of the modern option industry is inspired by the fast introduction of option instruments on financial markets and their rapid development and enrichment. The various applications of options in hedging, speculative and arbitrage methods offer unique investment opportunities. Thus their importance for the development of Bulgarian capital market shouldn’t be neglected. The objective of this article is to suggest a more concrete and detailed study of futures and spot aspects of advanced options trade; negative term value of options as well as advanced synthetic and combined strategies.
