Abstract

European and Italian banks are facing the challenges posed by digital innovation and payments revolution after Psd2 directive with tools such as open banking, artificial intelligence and process automation. It is important to understand how European banks can change their strategy to adapt to new regulations and above all to ensure a significant role in the new economy, increasingly based on open ecosystems between different industries. By identifying their main assets, their core competencies, and encouraging the development of new and ad hoc professional skills
