Abstract

This paper aims to provide and defend a view on the importance of carefully considering a company’s corporate culture when creating a compliance programme. The paper provides insights on statistical data of the current and future workforce composition. It analyses organisational studies and academic research which categorise the general characteristics of the ever-growing Millennial group. It identifies the elements that these employees look for in companies, helping corporations face the talent war that is currently being observed in markets across the world. The reader can expect to obtain practical tools, advice and best practices on how to analyse the corporate culture of its company and how it should drive/impact their compliance framework. It also gives practical tips on how to create an effective compliance programme that addresses the growing population of Millennials in their work force.
