Abstract

Objective: To review literature on APP interaction design, classify and organize domestic achievements over the past 20 years, and interpret its development status, hotspots, and trends for a comprehensive understanding. Methods: We used visual analysis software to generate a knowledge map for "APP interaction design" based on data from the CNKI database. Co-occurrence and emergence analyses were conducted on authors, institutions, and keywords. Conclusion: Researchers show strong intra-institutional cooperation but weak cross-institutional collaboration. APP interaction design has evolved from function-centered basic design to exploring user experience design rules through interaction behavior, and then to modernizing traditional projects or launching new intelligent devices to enhance user experience. Future hotspots will be aging adaptation and natural interaction.
